Charles has been a weaver in Kirikiriroa Hamilton activating participation culture within the Glenview and surrounding south Hamilton community. He is also supporting the current weavers in Mt Wellington and Onehunga as a part of the coaching support team.
Charles holds an academic background in applied social sciences and has a passion for helping his community thrive. With cultural links to the whenua, he feels a deep connection to the area and sees kaitiakitanga / guardianship as an important role that ties into his work as well as everyday life.
