Neighbours Aotearoa is a national community development initiative dedicated to growing, connecting and strengthening neighbourhoods across Aotearoa. Grounded in a place-based approach, it supports neighbours to connect and take action within their local communities.
Community Think has project managed the initiative since 2018. Over that time, Neighbours Aotearoa has evolved from a single day into a ten-day event, then a month-long celebration, and now a year-round movement. By fostering locally driven participation, it is creating deeper, long-term shifts in the social fabric of Aotearoa.
